For your consideration is a very nice FANCY SERIAL NUMBER and STAR NOTE collection. This lot has 60 notes - a great group of bills with lots of variety, that will make a great starter set for a new collector, or a nice group of notes to add to an intermediate collection.

Included are examples of lots of different types of scarce and fancy serial numbers, some older notes, several different types of star notes, and lots of low print run bills. Please see the pics - I will go through and describe the whole lot in order.

1957A Siver Certificate - neat bill! You don't see them in circulation anymore because newer bill counters at banks reject them. Stated on the bill: "One Dollar in Silver Payable to the Bearer on Demand" - back in the day, you could go to the bank and trade it for a silver dollar; awesome! 2013 B Duplicate Star Note (FW origin) - Cert# B 08881866. Some 2013B notes were printed with the same serial number twice in error - one in DC and another in Fort Worth, TX.

They are nearly impossible to find today in circulation, as most have been replaced due to the short lifetime of bills compared to coins. 2017 Binary Note - Cert# D 14114411 C. Serial # is made up on only 2 digits: 1s and 4s. Rarity: approx 1:8,749.

2013 "RADAR" note - Cert# J 76466467 B. As in the word "RADAR", serial # reads the same forward and backward. Rarity: approx 1:10,000. Pic#3 - (back of first 5 notes). 2013 Six-of-a-kind, Cert# L 93332333 T; 2017 Six-of-a-kind, Cert# G18117111 B; 6 of the 8 digits are the same in both.

2017A Repeater, Cert# B 4989 4989 D; repeats 4 numbers twice; Rarity: approx 1:10,000. 2013 True Trinary, Cert# H 21122101 A; a true trinary bill is made up of only 0s, 1s, and 2s. 2013 Low 4-digit Serial #, Cert# L 00007073 D; low serial numbers are very desirable - anything 4 digs or less is scarce. 2017 "Mixed Broken Ladder" 2-9, Cert# E 48679253 A; all different numbers in a mixed run, 0-7, 1-8, or 2-9.

Pic#5 - (back of 6 notes). (2) 2009 "X Notes", Cert# L 07139497 X and L04484105 X; 14 - 15. (2) 1995 "Y Notes", Cert# B 58059527 Y and L 16900924 Y; These print runs would start with B-A or L-A, then change to B-B or L-B after millions and millions are printed, on down the line. They are hard to find because the serial numbers rarely get to -X (and even more rarely) get to -Y. Most years they stop printing the bills before that. Tough to find these serial #s. Pic#7 - (back of 4 notes). Pic#9 - (back of 10 old bills).

10 Different Fed Reserve Star notes from 10 Fed Reserve Banks; Includes the following Banks: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L. Nice group of bills - the D (Cleveland) note is also a low print run bill, with a TOTAL PRINT RUN of just 500k; bills shown is # 264,092 of 500,000. Pic#11 (back of 10 diff Fed Reserve Star Notes).

(2) Trackable "Where's George" notes; 2006 Cert# L 14332076 B and 2017A Cert# F02663665 I; these bills are fun - they are stamped and cataloged - you can go to the website on the bill and put in the serial # and follow where the bills have been; keep them or add your own town and let them go to see where they go. (2) 2013 notes with 4 trailing 0s; Cert# H 21410000 C and F 20880000 M; similar in scarcity to 4-digit low print run notes. 2017A "Quad Double Pairs" note; Cert# F 00 22 22 77 D; tough to find with 4 sequential pairs of numbers. (2) "5 in a Row" Serial Numbers; 2013 Cert# L 44444920 I and 2017 Cert# L 17888883 D.

5 in a row anywhere in the serial number is a tough bill to find. Pic#13 - (back of 7 notes). (5) Low Serial Number Star Notes 000- and 00-; (2) - 000- notes (2017A and 2017), and (3) 00- notes (2021, 2017A, 2013). (3) 5-digit Descending Ladder Notes, (2) 87654xxx bills and (1) x76543xx bill; Cert#s: 2017A F 87654784 F, 2013 E 87654052 J, 2017 L 07654354 D.

Ladders with runs of 5 in a row or more are tough to find and look neat. Pic#15 - (back of 9 notes). 2017A E (Richmond) Fed Reserve Star Note - Low Print Run of just 250k; Cert# E 00153149. This is bill # 153,149 of 250,000.

(2) 2017 K Fed Reserve Star Notes - Low Print Run of just 250k; Cert# K 03215382 and K 03219040. Very tough to find low print run notes! (2) 500k Low Print Run Star notes: Cert# 2021 B 06763245 and 2017 H 03251600. Tough to find notes in 500k print runs! 2009 J Fed Reserve Star Note - 640k Low Print Run note: Cert# J00271928. This is a very sought after bill, with a TOTAL print run of just 640k. This is bill # 271,928 of 640,000. (2) 2017A F Fed Reserve Star notes - 640k Low Print Run notes: Cert# F 0329479 and F 03719702.
