Genuine 2007/8 Zimbabwean Dollar Display. An ideal present for someone who has an interest in the financial world or collects rare currencies. The Zimbabwean 100 Trillion Dollar note was the highest denomination banknote to have ever been mass circulated.
An honour it is unlikely to ever lose. Ultra-violet light tested at a wavelength of 365nm as recommended by The Bank Of England (as seen in pictures). The 100 trillion dollar uncirculated note in our display has a low AA01..... The 100 dollar uncirculated note has a low AA82.....Both notes have been UV tested (as seen in pictures) and then placed in plastic protective sleeves before being mounted and framed in the final displays. This process will preserve the notes whilst also allowing them to be displayed and enjoyed.
If this happens it can be rectified by tapping on the side of the frame or by removing the back and repositioning by hand. This is so no glue is in direct contact with the banknotes. PLEASE NOTE - the serial numbers will differ to the ones pictured, the 100 Trillion Dollar note will start AA01..... And the 100 Dollar note will start AA82..... They will have been UV tested in the same way.
The Oxford photo frame allows the option to display on a wall or freestanding. Our display demonstrates the rate of hyperinflation Zimbabwe experienced in 2008 - the 100 dollar bill was worth the same as the 100 trillion dollar bill within just a few months. This is a subject particularly prominent at the moment due to the pandemic. Governments across the world have already printed multiple times the amount they printed in the 2007-08 Financial Crisis. If history is to repeat itself this will inevitably lead to increased inflation rates. The size of the frame is 11.2" / 28.5cm X 11.2" / 28.5cm Thank you for showing an interest in our product.
